Yunokawa Prince Hotel Nagisatei, located in Hakodate,
Hokkaido prefecture, has 115 outdoor hot spring baths. There is no other Ryokan
or hotel that has such a huge number of outdoor baths in Japan. The baths are standard
in each room, facing the ocean. People like this because they can relax in the
outdoor bath 24/7 with a spectacular view of the ocean. Nagisatei is also well
known for its excellent breakfast and dinner services, served at their
restaurants, which are included in the room charge. “Asaika,” squid captured in
the morning and served within a few hours at the restaurants, is particularly
famous for its excellent taste. It is usually available from mid June until
October, reaching its peak in August. The nationwide poll for the top Ryokan in
Japan always places Nagisatei within the top three Ryokan in Japan. Please visit Hokkaido on the map of "Ryokan" of Grand Collection of Japanese Traditions and you will find this Ryokan there.
